PiMPStreamer is a realtime video/audio streamer from your PC to your PSP. Any format/size avi/mpeg/wmv/etc can be streamed without any delay.

PimpStreamer DLNA is a new addition to the family. With PimpStreamer DLNA you can serve all you PC content to a DLNA capable client (like a PS3, or av/hifi equipment). PimpStreamer DLNA does not transcode but just serves the files to the client.

No need for muxing, converting etc. Just get some WIFI connection and you can watch your flicks everywhere.

Installation

Edit config.txt, change the IP to your windows machine. For the stream and net section.

Install PIMPSTREAMER100 in /PSP/GAMES/ on your PSP.

User guide

Start up the PC server, add your media directories. For Wii/PS3/PC just point the internet web browser to http://:3333 you will see the FLV interface. Select your movie and stream.

For PSP install the PSP binaries and startup, if the binaries were installed with the PSP installer then they will connect automatically with the server.

PiMPStreamer just uses the normal ffmpeg libraries (avcodec.dll, avformat.dll). It will basically stream most of your audio video files without any hassle. AVI, MPG, MP3, OGG, WMV etc... Just add exotic extensions in the ini file. It uses the power of the hosting PC so you can watch almost any format.

Buffer on psp (tested it on the memstick and was really slow, hard).

Not based on pmp_mod, uses mp3 hardware decoding and plain software decoding (no me.prx needed).

Flv streamer update, full Wii playback.
Now that WPA was tackled (if you downgrade to 3.10).
The FLV streamer side needed an update. No changes in the PSP binaries.
- No more pimpy color borders. Movie will always try to go full screen.
- Full length flv playback on Wii. Tested with some long movies.
- Better UI while playing (click on movie). Adjust volume and play/pause. Tested on Wii.
To start a new movie, refresh the page.
Remember to use it on the Wii or PS3, you enter your PC address with port 3333 in the internel web browser.
