Season Staker is a dropping puzzle game for the Gameboy Advance.

It was submitted to the 2006 IGF Competition.

User guide

The object is to fill the opponent's side of the screen. Pieces appear on the screen, three at a time.

Drop the piece whenever you needed. If you connect four or more identical pieces, those pieces will pop, leaving behind one piece of the next season. When you pop pieces, the pieces above them fall down. If those pieces match, then they'll pop too, making a combo.

Popping pieces fills the gauge in the middle of the screen, if the gauge i high enough, it will make junk pieces fall on your opponent. If the gauge is full, you will attack your opponent with a pile of junk pieces.

When you fill the gauge, it turns green. When your opponent fills the gauge it turns red, and will drop junk pieces on you. The only way to get rid of the junk pieces is to pop normal pieces right next to them. Junk pieces won't fill the gauge when they pop.

You can have more than 1 special moves, experiment with all of them and find out what they do. Every time you pop all four seasons in the same combo, you get a year up. Each year up, you will be given a special move.

If pieces pile up too high, the piece you're about to drop turn into skulls. If you drop a piece when it's a skull, you lose the game. If you make your opponent drop a skull piece, however, you win.
