Whackemon is a recreation of a sub-game in Mystical Ninja on the SNES.
It was entered into the GBdev 2000 competition.
User guide
The idea of the game is to whack the critters that pop up before they disappear. There are 3 game modes:
- Timed Attack - Score the most hits in limited time.
- Persecution - Only whack the critter of the day.
- Whackathon - Whack until you miss a critter.
Controls
Main menu:
D-Pad - Navigate options
A/B/Start - Select option
In game:
A+D-Pad - Hit the four holes on the right side
B+D-Pad - Hit the four holes on the left side
Start - Pause game
