Space Escape is a classic space shooter. Main developers are Grimfate126 (aka BobbyJoe126), InsertWittyName, Abhoth.
It was submitted to the NEO Spring Coding Compo 2007 (PSP Game).
User guide
The aim of the game is to survive as long as you can in a dangerous asteroid field.
Menu options
- Start - Begins the game.
- Instructions - Explains how to play.
- Profile - Lets you view your user profile.
- Upload scores - Lets you upload your highscore and see how you rank worldwide.
- Credits - Displays the credits.
The Hud
- Once you're in the game you will notice two bars, one on each side of the screen.
- The bar on the left is your laser charge, the bar on your right is your shield charge.
Power-ups
- Red - Increase the laser one level (return to level 1 if the meter runs out).
- Green - Shield.
- Blue - Score multiplier.
Lasers
- Level 1 - A single green laser fired from the centre of your ship.
- Level 2 - Two blue lasers fired from the wing guns.
- Level 3 - Two red lasers fired from the wing guns and one from the centre of your ship.
Controls
D-Pad/Analog - Scroll through the screen
Cross - Fire
Select - Take screenshot
Start - Pause
Home - Mini menu
Mini menu:
Cross - Exit the game
Circle - Resume game
Triangle - Return to the main menu
