PSP-fceultra is a port of the NES/Famicom emulator fceultra to the PSP.

It was presented in the NEO Spring Coding Compo 2006 (PSP Apps).

Features

  • Support for loads of NES roms.
  • ZIP support.
  • Hardware accelerated blitting.
  • 60fps on most games.
  • Built in game select screen.

Installation

Copy the contents to ms0:/PSP/GAME/fceultra/.

Then put your NES roms in your Memory Stick.

Psp-fceultra has a file browser so you can copy the roms anywhere (preferably in the /GAME/PSP/fceultra/roms/ folder).

Your roms can either be in NES/ZIP format (ZIP is recommended as it takes less space).

User guide

Note that this is an emulator only. It does not include any roms and there are a few missing features (Cheat codes, mappable controls, Zapper support, FDS support, Source code).

In-game GUI contains options to save/load states, take screen shots and change the video.
