DiggerPSP is an arcade homebrew game made by Sketor, which is a port version of Digger Remastered. Sketor has released 2 port versions, one for PSP and another one for Wii.
The original Digger was released on PC in 1983 by Windmill software. Andrew Jenner reverse engineered the original and created an open source version called Digger Remastered.
It was one of the contest entriesfor the NEO Summer Coding Compo 2009 (PSP Game).
User guide
The objective of the game is to get as many points as possible by eating all of the emeralds and gold.
The Hobbins and Nobbins don't seem to like you doing this and they will try to stop you.
You can terminate them by squishing with the gold bags, eating them after you get the magical cherry powerup (like the powerpill in Pac-Man) or shooting them with your slow to recharge fireball.
