Rodent's Revenge DS is a Nintendo DS homebrew clone of Rodent's Revenge, a puzzle game that used to come with Windows in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack.
Features
- Same 50 levels from the original game.
- 5 game speeds.
- High scores.
- Select a level to start from.
Installation
Download and extract file.
DLDI patch it if needed (if your card does not have auto-patching) and copy it to the root directory of the card.
Copy the rodents-revenge folder to the data folder of your memory card. If you don't have a data folder, you will have to create one.
Note: If the screens turn green, there was a problem with DLDI. Make sure patched it correctly.
User guide
You take on the role of a mouse, with the objective being to trap cats by pushing blocks around, whilst avoiding obstacles.
To win a level, the mouse must stay alive and trap all the cats using the movable blocks. Doing so changes the cats into cheese, which the mouse can eat for extra points.
You are given 3 lives before the game is over.
The instructions are built in to the game and can be read by clicking the Help button on the main menu.
