Paper Battle is a turn-based strategy game, based on the Paper War Game, where 2 players need to take turn to eliminate the opponent's soldiers, until only one is left standing. It is written in Lua and also available on Windows.
It was participated in the Neo Spring Coding Compo 2008 (PSP Games).
Installation
Place the contents to ms0:/PSP/GAME/.
User guide
Start the game by entering your names (3 initials) to create your fortress. Before the battle begin, each player will have the options to create your own army:
- Each side can have 17 soldiers in the battlefield (2 helicopters, 5 tanks and 10 soldiers).
- Each player has 36 health points, player loses the game when it reaches 0.
- It takes 1 hit to defeat the soldiers; 3 for helicopters and 4 for tanks.
Once the battlefield is set, you and your opponent will then take turn to shoot at each other. You will need to aim in order to hit the enemies, you can also use shield to reflect the opponent's shot instead of attacking.
It performs autosave after every shot.
