PROHIBITION is a remake of Prohibition created by Infogrames in 1987 for the Amstrad CPC computer. The game is in English and French with a help access in the game menu.
It was submitted to the NEO Summer Coding Compo 2006 (GBA/NDS Games) and Datel's Design a Game Competition.
Features
- Game mode with story and boss level.
- Choose between stylus or buttons.

User guide
In game mode, you start the game with 3 lives. You must kill gangsters before they kill you.
At level 1, you only need 1 bullet to kill gangsters.
To go to the next level, you must kill 50 gangsters and finish the boss level without losing.
Controls
You can play with D-Pad or the Stylus.
Stylus - Tap to fire
D-Pad - Move the peephole
L - Protect yourself/hide behind wall (Game mode only)
Start - Pause
R - Music on/off

- The return of the PROHIBITION voice on the CPC title screen.
2006/08/24
- Bug fix when triggering the shield during death (no life loss - thanks to Alexis).
- Redefinition of character selection margins for the 3 levels (relative to Random).
- In the Hi-score, the last score is 10000, allowing you to enter your name in the Hi-scores more quickly.
- The R button allows you to stop or play the background music.
- Background music now loops correctly.
- Removal of the PROHIBITION voice for now.
- Sound modification for shooting, shield activation, timer, enemy fire, death scream, bullet bonus (the latter isn't great, it will likely change).
- Added a Failed sound (when losing the game), a sound effect when moving the chip in the menus, a "No Help Me" voice for hostage-taking, a shooting sound when pressing a key in the hi-score.
- Fixed the 2 cheat codes and added a voice trigger.
