Most people probably associate "game calculator" with Casio, but in fact, Sharp has also released various game calculators. Nevertheless, their game calculators remain relatively obscure.
This is a Game Boy Color adaptation of one of their games. The game rules were sourced from a book, so there might be differences from the actual game.
User guide
Here are some differences compared to the original game:
- The numbers to be arranged are different (original: 11223344 or 12341234).
- The number of digits to be arranged is fixed at 8 (original: an advanced variant with 16 digits).
Upon pressing Start, the numbers from 1 to 8 will be displayed on the screen in a random order. The objective is to arrange them from left to right as [12345678]. You will use the following three keys during the game:
D-Pad Left - Press once to shift all displayed numbers to the left by one digit. The leftmost digit will move to the rightmost position.
Example: [12345678] > [23456781]
D-Pad Right - Press once to shift all displayed numbers to the right by one digit. The rightmost digit will move to the leftmost position.
Example: [12345678] > [81234567]
A Button - Press once to swap the first and second digits from the left, and also swap the first and second digits from the right. Other digits remain unchanged.
Example: [12345678] > [21345687]
