Bombs Away!! is a little platformer for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance.
It was developed for the GBADEV.ORG Compo 2003.
Features
- 21 levels including 4 bonus levels.
- End of game sequence.
- Hiscore Table (saved to SRAM).
- Music and Sound Effects (using the Krawall Free SDK).

User guide
Gameplay
The aim of the game is to collect all the bombs before the timer runs out, you receive a time bonus at the end of each level. The following pickups are found in the game:
- Bomb - 200 points.
- Coin - 500 points.
- Cherry - 1000 points.
- Strawberry - 2000 points.
- Heart - 1 up, gain a life.
- Skull - Death, lose a life.
- HiJump - HiJump powerup, increases your jump height for one jump.
Cheats
To enable/ disable the cheat mode, go to the credits screen and press UP, B, L, DOWN, B, R.
With the cheat mode enabled you can skip levels using L and R.
If you gain a hiscore with the cheat mode enabled then your name will be replaced with ""!!!"".
