Donkey Kong II is a remake of the game Donkey Kong II originally released as part of the Game & Watch series in 1983.

User guide

The objective of the game is to help Donkey Kong to escape from the chains that hold him captive. In order to unlock the padlocks, you need to take a key from the lower screen and transport it to the corresponding padlock.

You have to do this 4 times until Donkey Kong Jr saves Donkey Kong. After that, the game will start over, at a somewhat faster pace.

Controls

Start - Restart game

Y - Toggle LCD modus

A - Jump

D-Pad - Move

Credits

This homebrew was written using PaLib, and much appreciation should go out to fellow-Dutchman-and-dk2-fan Reinier Feijen who wrote the vector-graphics for his flash version.

And of course Nintendo for coming up with the whole thing in the first place.
