Lakeside is a project made by Kasumi and it has a map editor (unfinished at the time of release).
This is an entry from the Neo Summer Coding Compo 2009 (PSP Games, 7th place).
User guide
You can explore around the map and interact with a few npcs though no actual gameplay or story are implemented.
Map editor
There are two included maps, Mapset 0, map 1 is a way to see the tiles in each set. Mapset 0, map 2 is author's script test room.
After you load it, you have to disable the map editor to talk to the sprites in it.
You can't talk to sprites with the map editor active as it would make it much easier to lose unsaved work.
