The GB-PDA is an ambitious project that aims to transform the Game Boy Color into a fully-functional Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). To do this, you'll need a modified cartridge with MBC3 (Memory Bank Controller 3) and FlashROM. Additionally RTC feature required for full functionality.

User guide

Utilities

World Clock Uses the RTC function of MBC3 to display three world time positions. Time can be displayed by pressing the B button on the map. Scrolling map is also supported.
Calendar Support cerebration day of 16 Countries. Beginning of week can be defined by any day (Western style).
Contact Utilizes the Game Boy's 4-channel sound generator to set up DTMF for phone functions. Supports local and international calls with suffix.
Dialer Generates DTMF tones and cues input numbers from the Phone Book application. Phreak Mode allows special number entry like RED-BOX and BLUE-BOX by Captain Crunch. It was introduced in Hacker's site.
Information Provides country information with TimeZone, international country code, etc.
Memopad Simple memopad with 10 sheets and bookmark feature. Find function will be supported in near future.
Preference Color setting and Font Setting. Also possible to set up password.
Data Sync Not yet implemented but planned to support data synchronization through serial cable and Ir function.

Games

Deep Scan The first software made by Mr.N.U. of TeamKNOx and contributed to GBDK. It was successfully ported.
Namihey A puzzle game based on the GUNPEY on the WonderSwan. Slightly heavier action than the original GUNPEY but nicely ported for the first time. Original engine by Mr.K.I. of TeamKNOx, optimized by Mr.N.U. of TeamKNOx.
Pair Training material for GBC programming with or without PDA combined techniques.
MineSweeper A well-known game.

Applications

IR Remote controller Ir data has been put on ROM area. It allows storing a large number of IR data in the ROM area for easy access and use.
Calculator A simple calculator application.
Barcode reader Possible to read out barcode with Game Boy Color.
CueCat Reader Allows reading barcodes using the CueCat device along with the Game Boy Color.
RoReCon Functions as a controller for Lego MindStorms robots.
RemScan Outputs custom-defined Ir remote control signals in NEC-Format continuously.
Paint A painting software designed for the GBC.
GB-PDC A controller for PDC(2G) mobile phones with Japanese format.
Terminal emulator Communication Software for ASync communicattion.
