Ladeks is a remake of the sci-fi strategy game Deleks released in the 1980s based on the Dr. Who television series. The core concept of the game has been present in games dating back to the 1970s, the most notable being the UNIX game Robots and BASIC game Chase.
It was presented in Bung's 2nd Amateur GameboyTM Format Games Coding Competition.
User guide
In the game you are the Doctor and must destroy all the robots before they get to you and rescue everyone. Each level has progressively more robots.
There are two ways to destory the robots, one is to make them run into each other, forming piles. This pile will destory other robot that runs into it. The second way is by using a tool called the Sonic Screwdriver, which can make any robots directly next to you disappear.
The screwdriver also allows you to teleport out of harm's way to a random location on the map.
