Alpha Wing is a top-down space shooter with 360 degree rotation, particle FX & zooming. It uses digital sound FX, and the 4 normal sound channels for stereo music.
The homebrew was participated in the GBAX 2003 Coding Competition (HAM Winners).
User guide
Pick up blue bonuses to upgrade weapon, pick up health bonuses to recharge shields.
It has several game modes, including Deathmatch, Capture The Flag and Survival modes.
Note: There is a short pause during the title screen while the game generates sine tables - the game has not crashed, it just takes a few seconds.
