What you need:
* Wii with Homebrew Channel (or some similar loader) installed. SD memory for the datas.
* "Frets On Fire" songs (you can find it from Internet).
* Keyboard, Wiimote/Nunchuck or Guitar device for Wii (you can play with two guitars or two keyboards).

You must add the songs in the directory /guitarfun/songs/ in the SD memory.

You can add folders with Frets on Fire songs directly or you can create packs. The packs are formed when you create a folder starting with the words pack or PACK, and you put the songs inside this folder.

By default the pack name is the folder name but you can customize it if you put a title.txt file inside the pack folder. The game reads 32 chars to use it as pack name.

In terms of songs, the game uses the same format as the game "[http://fretsonfire.sourceforge.net/ Frets on Fire]", meaning any song available for "Frets on Fire" can be played in "Guitarfun". To play these songs, simply copy the downloaded "Frets on Fire" tracks to the directory "/guitarfun/songs" on the SD card.

== Song Packs ==
You can see pack2 uses the name from title.txt and it is ordered alphabetically on the first position.
*You can create packs of songs by creating directories that begin with the word 'pack'. The pack directories must be placed i the directory /guitarfun/songs of the sd card.
**Example: /guitarfun/songs/pack1
*If you want to change the title of the song pack place a text-file called title.txt inside the folder of the song pack. Write the title of the song pack in the text file.

Guitarfun is a port of the popular game Guitar Hero where players can play songs on a plastic toy guitar.

Guitarfun supports various controllers, including the Wii Les Paul Guitar, USB keyboards, the Wiimote, the Wiimote + Nunchuck, and PS2 guitars through a PS2-to-GameCube converter. Guitarfun can also be played on PC and PS2.

Installation

What you need:

  • Wii with Homebrew Channel (or some similar loader) installed. SD memory for the datas.
  • "Frets On Fire" songs (you can find it from Internet).
  • Keyboard, Wiimote/Nunchuck or Guitar device for Wii (you can play with two guitars or two keyboards).

Example:

guitarfun/songs/
           |-pack1/
           | |-4.1 Paranoid – Black Sabbath
           | |-4.2 Anarchy in the U.K. – Sex Pistols
           |-pack2/
           | |-AC-DC -Back in Black [FOF.Spain]
           | |-Avalanch - El angel caido
           | |-title.txt (file content "1. Misc")
           |-Helloween-I want out

The result in the program:

  • 1. Misc:
    • AC-DC -Back in Black [FOF.Spain].
    • Avalanch - El angel caido.
  • pack1:
    • 4.1 Paranoid – Black Sabbath.
    • 4.2 Anarchy in the U.K. – Sex Pistols.
  • Helloween-I want out.

You can see pack2 uses the name from title.txt and it is ordered alphabetically on the first position.
