So here it is! The Wii edition of Planet Hively. Unlike all the other ports, this is no simple recompile. The Wii version has been written especially for the Wii and is therefore the only one (so far) to have hardware accelerated graphics and alpha blending effects.
I had to fight for over a week with GFX corruption and random crashes, which in the end turned out to be the fault of the libogc LWP thread system, which i was only using because the libogc mod replayer used it.
After ditching that, everything seems to work OK, although there are a couple of workarounds for strange bugs that I couldn't fix (there is a long rant about one of those in render.c if you want to go and read more
:-). | |||
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this. I wanted to do more with the Wiimote, but in the end, I just wanted to get it released. I might do a "final version" that has more wiimote goodness.

HivelyTracker.com is a website dedicated to a music tracker software called Hively Tracker. A music tracker is a type of digital audio workstation that is used to create and edit music using patterns and sample-based sequencing.
The website held a competition where users could create music using Hively Tracker and the entries were compiled into a music disk called "Planet Hively".
The music disk has been ported to many platforms, and the Wii version is the first one that uses hardware accelerated graphics. This means that the version of the music disk that runs on the Wii makes use of the Wii's built-in graphics processing capabilities to enhance the visual aspects of the music disk.
