The Vita Companion is an all in one solution that will help make setting up your Vita a lot more efficient.
This app utilise Lua Player Plus Vita (lpp-vita).
Features
- The intergrated Modoru will downgrade your system to firmware 3.65 and attempt to auto install Enso.
- The Enso app is also intergrated to manually Install or remove the Enso exploit on 3.60 and 3.65.
- The app will auto detect if your using a Vita or PSTV then installs a starter plugin pack acordingly when you downgrade. For example the Vita pack includes the DS4 support plugin where as the PSTV pack installs DolcePolce (game whitelister):
- Vita: 0Syscall6, NoNpDRM, NoPsmDrm, Repatch, udcd_uvc, DS4Vita, noAvls, KuBridge, FD_Fix, ShellBat.
- PSTV: 0Syscall6, NoNpDRM, NoPsmDrm, Repatch, DolcePolce, KuBridge, FD_Fix.
- The PSM Mobile Runtime 2.01 is also installed during the downgrade or plugin installation.
- The Storage format tool by SKGleba is included to corectly format your SD card for use in the SD2Vita or PSVSD adaptors.
- Also include is my own UX0 to SD clone tool which will prepare your system to take an SD and then clone your current setup onto a genuine SD card.
- There is a section where you are able to manually change the memory allocations (similar to using Autoplugin).
- There is an information page which shoes the current setup, the space used and will also check the validity of the SD card for potential fakes.
- And finally there is also a homebrew app downloader and installer which has a selection of useful tools.
Installation
Release contains:
- _CompanionHEv2.zip - This version is to be used along with FinalHE so you are able to install this very handy tool right from the start while you transfer the h-encore mod (preferred method).
- VitaCompanionV2.vpk - This is the VPK version of the app which also includes the PSP2UPDAT.PUP firmware 3.65 update file.
- VitaCompanionV2-lite.vpk - This is the same as the 1st VPK but without the update file included.
- This is mainly for people already running the lower firmware and no longer need to downgrade.
- If however you needed to downgrade, the app will detect the file is missing (PSP2UPDAT.PUP), you can manually add it to ux0:/app/COMPANION/modoru/PSP2UPDAT.PUP.
Installing Vita Companion with FinalHE (from the Reference guide):
- Download the _CompanionHEv2.zip file and transfer the .zip file into the FinalHE folder (do not extract it) if you do not have the FinalHE app, download it from here.
- Launch FinalHE and press the > arrow that should now be on the right edge of the FinalHE window.
- Tick the box for Vita Companion and tick the Trim h-encore box (optional).
- on the Vita/PSTV goto the Content Manager and connect you Vita / PSTV using either USB or WiFi method.
- Once connected, click on Lets GO! and wait for the instructions on the FinalHE window.
Note: If you are having issues connecting your device to the computer then make sure you do NOT have CMA or QCMA installed, if your using the USB connection then you will probaby need the USB drivers from here.
