Dvck Hvnt is a clone of Nintendo's Duck Hunt game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. All graphics and sounds are original. HAM's sound library, Krawall, lowered the volume of all of the samples, so it's best heard through headphones.

It was participated in the GBAX 2003 Coding Competition.

User guide

At the opening screen, select your level of difficulty by choosing how many ducks will be on the screen at a time. You only get three shots per set of ducks.

After the round starts, your target will be in the center of the screen and ducks will come out of the reeds at the bottom of the screen.

If you hit a duck, he will fall and your canine companion will pick capture him. If you run out of ammo (three shots per set) or take too long, the remaining ducks will fly away.

The round ends after all of the ducks (10 ducks in 1- and 2-duck mode, 9 ducks in 3-duck mode) are gone. If you missed four or more ducks, the game ends. Otherwise, you continue to the next round. You are rewarded for killing all ducks in a round.

Controls

D-Pad - Move your target

A - Fire
