Bug-o-tron is a 2D side-scrolling shoot-em-up demo for the Game Boy Advance.
The game includes functional game mechanics, but the levels are not completed.
User guide
The Hero, Flusk, will be directed by the player, where his goal is to:
- Destroy the enemies.
- Collect varies bonuses.
- Dodge the attack from the enemies.
He will evolve in a world:
- Gain character experience.
- Choice of levels on a map.
- Ability to replay levels with higher difficulty.
- Purchase equipment and upgrades in stores.
He will face villains:
- The enemies will be adapted to the atmosphere of the level.
- The characteristics of the enemies will increase with the difficulty of the level.
Controls
Map:
D-Pad - Move in x/z
A - Enter the level or store
In store:
Up/Down - Change items
Left/Right - Change the quantity
A - Purchase
In game:
D-Pad - Move in x/y
A - Shoot
B - Activate/deactivate the shield
L - Booster
R - Drop a bomb, Lock target
