User guide

Story

A flurry of excitement at the METALVOTZE construction site: Andy thought the visit of Inspector Ignaz would cool Bill down a little as the bricklayer's thirst for beer increases from day to day.

Far too often Bill caused trouble being a drunkard at work, scrapping tools and machines. Far too often he was rude to Andy, his apprentice boy, demanding more and more beer to drink.

Now, what Andy did not expect was this inspector being as lazy as his foreman. Moreover, Inspector Ignaz is a real pain in the arse when it comes to keeping Andy away from his duty:

-- To serve his master with beer - as fast as possible! --

Characters

Andy, The Apprentice:

You slip into the role of Andy the apprentice boy at the construction site.

Knowing foreman and master Beer Belly Bill, you always come up with clever ways to collect the empty bottles he drops, to hump them over to the news stand to the left of the construction site to exchange them with fresh beer there and to put them on the lift to the right.

Always on the run from Beer Belly Bill, Andy has three bottles of fine Premium Beer (TM) with him which he drops whenever he is in trouble. While Bill enjoys one of these it gives Andy a little time to escape from his bad tempered master.

After each morning shift Andy enjoys a little free time collecting empties and making some money (Bonus-Level).

Will Andy be free one day and be a bricklayer himself?

Will he, in a happy future, have an apprentice boy himself who he can push around?

Beer Belly Bill:

Beer or not a beer - that is the question for Bill. He HATES running out of beer at work. In fact, if this happens too often, he would go home and have a beer there (GAME OVER).

His "relationship" to Andy can best described by "Master and Servant", and he reminds Andy about his attitude every time he gets a grip on him - using his fists and feet. For him, the only positive thing about Andy is his Premium Beer (TM) which he is eager to get.

Inspector Ignaz:

The inspector is checking all the mess Bill has made since "Beer Belly Bill In Construction Site Mayhem".

Simply try to keep away from this lazy bastard as well, he only stands in your way whenever you are in a hurry...

How to play

Avoid Beer Belly Bill and lift full bottles of beer to him.

Drop one of your Premium Beers (TM) whenever you are in trouble with Bill. The amount of Premium Beers (TM) is shown in the form of mugs at the bottom of the screen on the right.

The remaining time of each shift is displayed on the bottom of the screen on the left.

Andy can carry up to 10 bottles at a time.

After completing a shift collect as much bottles as you can in 10 seconds.
