DarkFrost is a plugin for using cheats in game made by demon450.

The plugin was formerly named as DarkPR and is a mod version of NitePR Rev.J made by SANiK.

Installation

It comes with the Auto Installer in the auto install folder; Alternatively you can install the plugin manually.

Install manually:

Copy the darkfrost folder into the root of your Memory Stick.

Go to the seplugins folder on your Memory Stick, open game.txt and append the following line

ms0:/darkfrost/darkfrost.prx

Whether you are using the Auto Installer or install it manually, you will need to copy the contents of your NitePR folder into ms0:/darkfrost/codes/ (if you have it previously installed); or import it from the Reload nitePR codes option and then save the codes.

You may also delete the nitePRimportant.bin, it is now DFimportant.bin and is in the config file.

User guide

How to add cheats

All NitrPR codes can be applied to DarkFrost (PSP Cheat Codes Database).

Create a text file for the game you want in the codes folder (situated inside the darkfrost folder on the root of your Memory Stick).

Name by its Game ID. For instance Final Fantasy I (US) will be ULUS-10251.txt.

Next search for its cheat codes/nitePR Codes. Copy over the cheat codes into the text file in similar formats:

Save the text file. Please also make sure the cheats are for the correct region.

Run the game and activate the plugin, you will then be able to select the cheats that you would like to use.

Controls

Home (press twice) - Activate the plugin

Volume Up+Volume Down - Open menu

L/R - Move between options

Square - Activate cheat (permanent)

Circle - Exit the menu

Cross - Enable/disable selected cheats

Note - Activate/deactivate the cheats that are active (in game)
