Extract v1.0, copy heretic.wad (full version) or heretic1.wad (shareware version) to the folder where you installed xHeretic. | |||
Open v1.1, overwrite the default.xbe and edit and copy the wads.cfg file if you want to use the wad selector. | |||
For the wad selector, edit the wads.cfg included and add as many entries as you want. The syntax is very easy: | |||

Copy it to the xHeretic folder along with the wads. Next time you run xHeretic, a wads selector will be displayed. | |||
