4Rows is a port of Four in a row/Connect 4, a sample homebrew provided with the very first [https://luaplayer.org PSP Lua Interpreter].

I said few months ago that lpp-3ds is a port of our PSP interpreter and that it uses a very similar syntax so porting PSP LUA homebrews is very simple so why not porting another ones to 3DS?<br />
The homebrew is written using lpp-3ds, which uses a similar syntax to the PSP version. You can compare the scripts between the original PSP homebrew (the final.lua file) and this 3DS port, which adds restart/exit controls at the end of the game and a check for draw matches (in the original ones, if you complete the board without anyone to win, game will just freeze).

I just adapated the script for lpp-3ds syntax (You can check differences from original script and this one by downloading original PSP homebrew ( http://www.luaplayer.org/4-in-a-row.zip ) and see final.lua file) and added restart/exit controls at the end of the game and a check for draw matches (in the original ones, if you complete the board without anyone to win, game will just freeze).<br />

If you want to use CIA/3DS build, put all PNG files and rows.lua in SD card root.<br />

4Rows is a port of Four in a row/Connect 4, a sample homebrew provided with the very first PSP Lua Interpreter.

Installation

Available in CIA, 3DS, and 3DSX formats.

  • 3DSX - Use the .3dsx provided with the Homebrew Launcher.
  • CIA - Copy .cia to your SD card and install it with the CIA manager of your choice.
  • 3DS - Copy .3ds to your SD card.

If you want to use CIA/3DS build, put all PNG files and rows.lua in SD card root.

Credits

Frank Buß for the original script.
