Boombastic is a Bomberman-like game where the player controls a tank capable of dropping bombs or launching a missile.

The homebrew was participated in the 1000$ pour la scène competition (LUA game, 1st place).

User guide

Main menu

  • Start game:
    • Start - Start the game with selected settings.
    • Enemies - 1, 2, or 3.
    • Difficulty - Easy, Medium, Hard.
  • How to play.
  • Credits.

Gameplay

The goal is to be the last tank remaining alive on the battlefield.

Currently it has only one map.

Controls

Menu:

Cross - Confirm

Circle - Go back

Up/Down - Navigate

In game:

D-Pad - Movement

Cross - Place a bomb

Circle - Launch a missile (if available)

Start - Pause menu
