GzDOOM: The Columbine Collection is a GZDoom collection put together for the Switch. It uses the GZDoom Switch port by fgsfdsfgs.
The original launcher was modified, so it will look for wads in the specific folder and path that is part of this collection, and should not conflict with any pre-existing installations of GZDOOM for the Switch.
It includes the following maps, all of which were created by Eric Harris:
- DEATHMATCHING IN BRICKS!
- Mortal Kombat Doom!
- Hockey.wad
- KILLER
- Station
- U.A.C. LABS
There is also a single wad file ("REB All in One") that combines all these maps into one. "ColumbineDOOM2" is also included due to relevance. Neither of these two files were created by Eric Harris.
For more information, please refer to the supplementary documentation files included in the download.
Author's notes:
Please be aware that this is not any sort of endorsement of what took place. This is an educational collection of digital media and perhaps unknown to many to have existed. A way to preserve history in gaming, art, life, the world and a bit of mass media's influence on it all. This being easily playable on the Switch might allow visibility from an audience that would not have otherwise. April 20, 1999 remains a date that will never be forgotten.
