Super Gem Smash Advance is a puzzle game for the Game Boy Advance.
This was participated in the GBAX 2004 Coding Competition.
User guide
Use the catapult at the bottom of the play area to pick up matching coloured gems and then drop them in vertical lines of 3 to break the gems, all gems of the same colour that are touching will be removed from the play area.
You can pick up as many gems of the same colour as you like. If you break gems quickly enough you can increase the chain multiplier which will affect the value of each gem that you break.
You must survive the number of lines shown on left hand side and when the last line is reached you will proceed to the next level. Each level has more lines to survive and is also faster than the previous level.
There are 5 levels and if you complete all 5 on both normal and hard mode then level 6, the hidden fortress, is unlocked.
There is a highscore table for both normal and hard modes. Highscore tables and progress are saved in SRAM.
