PSPMarble is a homebrew game that adopted the style of an arcade game called Marble Madness, published by Atari Games in 1984. It extended the gameplay to 3D, with physics and some new gameplay ideas.

It was participated in PSP-Hacks' Homebrew Idol 2 (2nd place).

User guide

Gameplay is similar to 3D Roll, where you control a 3D marble as it rolls to go through a series of obstacles. In additional you can jump and rotate the camera.

Up/Down - Zoom in/out

  • This version has been signed with the PSP extra tool so that the Eboot is kept as small as possible.
  • Completed request regarding the camera system (wrapping is allowed now) (by the underminer).
  • Updated physics module, now marble goes a bit faster, but the controls remain still accurate , and they won't make your life harder with "puzzles".
  • Updated stacked particle system for smoother animation.
  • Updated session cache manager , and now the load times while you switch menu-related session are improved.
  • Updated an input event in the tutorial mode.

  • Added save points (once you pick a crystal, that is, it becomes your save point and you can continue from there if you fail).
  • Updated a bit the camera system.
  • Normalized the movement of the marble.
  • Reworked on level "A real challenge". Now even a beginner can actually play on this level, but the tricky "puzzle" is still there.
  • Added one new level: "Made of glass"(this one is easy enough, but with really unique style).
  • Updated the code that detects if the player is inside the map bounds. Now, its instant, since you don't have to completly fall off the whole world, but instead, the closest node's normalized position is picked, so its "instant".
