Poke Da Mon is an action packed game of poking for the Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Color console.
The game was created for Bung Enterprises 2nd Gameboy Coding Competition.
User guide
Armed with a razor sharp poking stick, your goal is to poke the computer controlled opponent as many times as possible in under 99 seconds. This may sound simple, but your not the only one who has a stick.
Gameplay Tips:
- Razor Sharp Poking Sticks are heavy and you can't hold them up forever. If you hold it for 1 second, it'll take you 2 seconds before you can re-deploy.
- Each time you hit the enemy, you get 100 points.
- Each time the enemy hits you, you lose 50 points.
- As a side effect of being hit by a poking stick, you are sucked into a trans dimensional warp rift that sends you elsewhere on the map. Sometimes you pop up close to where you were hit.
Controls
D-Pad - Move your character around
A - Deploy the poking stick
Start - Pause the game
