Banana Saves v3 enables you to copy your protected savegames to your SD card within the System Menu by applying patches on-the-fly without modifying the NAND or posing any risk. It is partially based on Waninkoko's Menu Patcher and requires an IOS with NAND permissions, which any cIOS can provide.

This version of Banana Saves is compatible with System Menu versions 3.2 (U and E), 4.0 (J, U and E), 4.1 (J, U and E), 4.2 (J, U, E and K), and 4.3 (J, U, E and K).
== User guide ==
Run Banana Saves with any homebrew loading method (Homebrew Channel is recommended).

==How to use==
Select an IOS with NAND permissions.
To use Banana Saves, run it with any homebrew loading method, such as the Homebrew Channel. Then, select an IOS with NAND permissions and wait for the System Menu to boot. After that, you can copy your protected savegames to your SD card, even if the button appears disabled.

== Automatizing boot ==
Wait and the System Menu will boot.
If you are using Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 or later, you can automate the boot process of Banana Saves by removing the comment lines (<!-- and -->) in the meta.xml file and editing the IOS number you want to use. For example, if you want to use IOS236, add the following lines to the file:

Now you are able to copy protected savegames to your SD card (even if the button looks disabled).

=== Automatizing boot ===
If you are using Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 or later, you can automatize Banana Saves boot so you won't even need to select the IOS.
Just open the meta.xml file and remove the comment lines (<nowiki><!-- and --></nowiki>).

And then edit the IOS number you want to use. For example, if you want to use IOS236:

<pre>
<pre>
    <arguments>
  <arguments>
        <arg>--ios=236</arg>
      <arg>--ios=236</arg>
    </arguments>

Banana Saves (formerly Banana Patch) allows you to copy your protected savegames to your SD card within the System Menu by applying patches on-the-fly without modifying the NAND or posing any risk.

It is partially based on Waninkoko's Menu Patcher and requires an IOS with NAND permissions (any cIOS will work).

It's compatible with:

  • 3.2 (U and E)
  • 4.0 (J, U and E)
  • 4.1 (J, U and E)
  • 4.2 (J, U, E and K)
  • 4.3 (J, U, E and K)

User guide

Run Banana Saves with any homebrew loading method (Homebrew Channel is recommended).

Select an IOS with NAND permissions.

Wait and the System Menu will boot.

Now you are able to copy protected savegames to your SD card (even if the button looks disabled).

Automatizing boot

If you are using Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 or later, you can automatize Banana Saves boot so you won't even need to select the IOS. Just open the meta.xml file and remove the comment lines (<!-- and -->).

And then edit the IOS number you want to use. For example, if you want to use IOS236:

  <arguments>
      <arg>--ios=236</arg>
  </arguments>
