There have been claims that SXOS reuses codes that are readily available in other homebrews such as Atmosphere (an open source, and free Custom Firmware for the Switch). However, there are users who appreciate SXOS's simplicity and its exclusive functionalities, such as the capability to mount XCI games without needing to install them.
