This is a port of the world renowned FPS Game "Quake" by ID software. This port is based off [https://web.archive.org/web/20070216010828/http://quake.pocketmatrix.com/ Pocket Quake by Dan East]. == Features == * QuakePSP is mostly working. * Video works around 95% (CPU speed increased from 222 to 333mhz). * Controls work well, and can be remapped from within Quake PSP (can't be saved or loaded from a file however). * No sound support. * No networking support. == Installation == Copy the QUAKE-PSP directory to ms0:/PSP/GAME/. The pak files go in the ID1 sub folder (the shareware version is included). == Controls == Left/Right - Turn left/right Up/Down - Move forward/backward Cross - Shoot Triangle - Jump, Enter L/R - Strafe Select - Toggle menu == Screenshots == https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/psphomebrew/images/quakepsppmf2.png https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/psphomebrew/images/quakepsppmf3.png https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/psphomebrew/images/quakepsppmf5.png == Changelog == '''V.04 2005/07/23''' * Well, it's been about a month since I release the last version of Quake, Since that time, I've been busy working on other projects (PSPSOne), however, I wanted to re-visit Quake and fix some of the more glaring issues. In this release, the major crash bug has been fixed. I've played through the first 5 levels with no problems. The framerate is improved because I've set the CPU frequency to be 333mhz. I've also fixed a few othe small issues. No sound or network support yet, I'll have to come back to those later. Enjoy! '''V.02 Beta 2005/06/30''' * I've mapped a few keys a little bit better based on some user feedback. * I'm still working on a few crash bugs and addin in the audio. '''V.01 Beta 2005/06/29''' * This is a beta version, it may crash, hang up, whatever. * Framerate is pretty decent, and the game is quite playable. * There's no sound in this version. Please report whatever you find. == External links == * Official website - [https://web.archive.org/web/20070216010828/http://home.comcast.net/~shernandez1337/ http://home.comcast.net/~shernandez1337/] (archived)
