PSPGGO is a port of [http://www.gnu.org/software/gnugo/gnugo.html GNU-GO], which is an ASCII commend line Go game for Windows, Unix, Linux and Mac OS X. This is a port on PSP with added a Graphical User interface made by Ludovic Jacomme (aka Zx-81) based on the version 3.6 of GNU-Go. ==Installation== Unzip the ZIP file, and copy the folder pspggo to ms0:/PSP/GAME/. ==User guide== Before you begin, please remember just 3 rules below (manual by Hiroki Mori). * Two players (black and white) take turns, placing one stone on the board at a time. * A stone must be placed on the intersection of the vertical and horizontal lines. * Once a stone is placed, you can't move it, although under some conditions it may be removed. They are just too easy, aren't they? Now, you understand half the rules of Go! ===The goal=== The objective of Go is to make your territory larger than that of your opponent. At first, you may be confused about where to place your stones because you can play almost anywhere on the board. One key method to make territory is to capture opponent's stones. Stones that are surrounded are removed from the board and are handed to the opponent as prisoners. Each prisoner will be worth one point. You can play almost anywhere on the board, but with several exceptions (and additional rules such as Atari and Ko). To learn more about Go you should check out [http://playgo.to/interactive playgo.to]. ==Controls== Cross - Valid Circle - Pass L - First move R - Last move Square - Undo/Back move Triangle - Next move Cursor/Analog - Move on the board Select - PSPGGO menu ==Screenshots== https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/psphomebrew/pspggo2.png https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/psphomebrew/pspggo3.png ==Compatibility== Compatible with Custom Firmwares 3.x and PSP-Slim. ==Changelog== '''v1.1.0''' * Now compatible with custom firmwares 3.x and PSP-slim. * New user interface and new graphics. * Add a simple intro splash screen. * Support iso8859-1 fonts in print text functions (might be useful to translate menus in german, french). * Bug fix in the file requester.
