A key feature of PKGRipper is its use of patches. These patches contain files that are not necessary in the Pkg file and can be trimmed to zero bytes without any issues, thereby saving significant HDD space! For instance, F1 2020 can be reduced by more than 20GB. The program automatically detects the patch file that can be directly applied and provides you with the option to select the patch you wish to apply. It's important to note that a single patch file can contain multiple patches due to the various updates a game may have.
