Custom Home MOD is a modification to the plugin CustomHome, originally developed by Abcang. This mod version is written by suloku and majority of the changes are attributed to optimization. ==Features== * Add many features to the home menu. * PSPstates menu: Save, load and delete. Per game savestates and global savestates with screenshots. * Able to change the CPU/BUS speed with L and R Triggers. * Custom randomized backgrounds (you can have multiple images, one will load each time). * On screen information, such as Game title and ID, date, battery percentage and remaining time (does not work in the PSPGo). * All is customizable. ==Installation== This plugin depends on [http://code.google.com/p/prx-common-libraries/downloads/list prxcmlib_pack.zip] (included). To install, put cushome directory and lib directory in seplugins directory on your PSP Memory Stick. Edit game.txt in the same seplugins directory, append the following line ms0:/seplugins/cushome/cushome.prx PSPGo users will need to install custom home to ef0:/seplugins/, then add this line to game.txt ef0:/seplugins/cushome/cushome.prx Reboot your PSP and enable plugin in recovery mode. '''Notes from developer:''' To use this plugin with [[PspStatesMenu_Pict_PSP|PSPStates]], please use pspstates_kai.prx (will not work with pspstates.prx). Also if you are using other language file, you need to rename the file to lang.ini. ==User guide== ===How to use=== The menu is displayed by pushing the Home button while playing a game. Plugin will be disabled if you pressing Home button and run the game. ===Menu options=== {| class="wikitable" style="width: 600px;" |- ! colspan="2" style="text-align:center;" | Main menu |- | style="width: 20%;"|Exit Game | Exit game to XMB. |- | Restart Game || Restart the game as if you run it again. |- | Shutdown || Shutdown PSP. |- | Suspend || Suspend PSP. |- | Back || Return to game. |- | PSPStates || Open PSP States menu (must be installed prior). |- ! colspan="2" style="text-align:center;" | Option menu |- | Swap buttons || Swap the OK/Cancel buttons. |- | Change color || Change the interface color. |- | Mute || Mute when displaying the menu. |- | Low battery warning || Show low battery warning in the menu. |- | Stop game || Pause the game when displaying menu. |- | Brightness || Show percentage of brightness in the menu. |- | Description || Show description of the controls. |- | Game Name || Show Game Name. |- | Game ID || Show Game ID. |- | PSPStates || Activate PSPStates Plugin (must be installed prior). |- |} ===Custom wallpapers=== Must be in .BMP 24Bits format and 480x272 size. Place in the following path /seplugins/cushome/image/mis_fondos.bmp ===About PSPStates=== If you change CustomHome configuration and load a pspstates savestate, customhome will have the configuration it had when the save state was made. If you have different plugin configuration between savestates unexpected behavior can occur. Those two above are the main reason pspstates for custom home are moved to a different folder than the normal pspstates.prx. It is recommended not to try loading savestates made with other versions of pspstates. '''Note from developer:''' Custom home pauses the game when using features such as pspstates menu or Stopgame option is on. Even with the memory access check, it is advised to not use it while a video is playing or there's heavy Memory Stick/internal memory access as the PSP may hang. In general, the common rules applied to pspstates apply here. If for some reason the game hangs when opening custom home with StopGame option ON, before a full power of try suspending the PSP and powering on again, since this may unfreeze the system. The paths seplugins/cushome/, seplugins/lib/ and seplugins/SAVESTATE/ can't be changed for Custom Home to work. ==Controls== Home - Show menu Select - Open Setting menu Start - Pause the game D-Pad - Move between options Cross - Accept, Change option Circle - Back, Cancel ==Compatibility== Works on the following Custom Firmwares: 5.00 M33
6.20 PRO
6.39 PRO
6.39 ME
6.60 PRO
6.60 ME
==Known issues== It is advised not to disable all options in the menu, doing so will make customhome (and the PSP) hang. ==Changelog== '''v1.3.7 2014/08/17''' (by suloku) * Reverted Memory Stick access check to the direct hardware register function for Memory Stick only (seems better). For PSPGo's internal memory the other method is used. * Patches pspstates so the shortcuts (L+UP, R+DOWN) won't work. This had problems with the PSPGo when using the DualShock3 via bluetooth. '''v1.3.6 2014/07/29''' (by suloku) * Changed Memory Stick access check to support PSP Go's internal storage. Thanks to Omega2058 at wololo.net forums. * Fixed: sometimes it hanged when Stopgame option was on. * Built in Abcang's PSP Go's battery fix (only offers a battery percentage estimate, life time can't be known). * Added PSPGo's USB ID. Flush Memory Stick and internal storage (PSPGo) when desconnecting usb. * Corrected some typos. * Bundled Abcang's background templates. '''v1.3.5 2014/07/23''' (by suloku) * Changed threadcontrol to check for Memory Stick access before pausing the game's thread. Before this custom home hanged when entering several menus (pspstates...) or when "Stop Game" opton was enabled. Thanks to hiroi01's pspstates menu pict source code. * L and R in main menu now change CPU/BUS speed. * Moved pspstates to ms|ef0:/seplugins/cushome/pspstates_cushome.prx * Moved pspstates savegame folder to ms|ef0:/seplugins/cushome/SAVESTATE/. Custom Home will create this folder if it doesn't exist (in the previous version if the folder didn't exist pspstates would fail to save when apparently all went right). * pspstates_kai_mod_umdid.prx by leecherman bundled for convenience. Exctracted from "pspstates menu pict mod v5 (update)". * Latest version of prx-common-libraries also included for convenience. ==External links== * Wololo - https://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?t=39138
