Wordwise is a multi-player crossword game for the Game Boy Advance.
This was an entry for the GBAX 2003 Coding Competition.
Features
- A huge dictionary of 118,469 non-proper english words
- Multiplayer on a single GBA - a screen is displayed between player turns for players to pass the GBA around.
- Save game ability
- Two levels of computer AI - the AI is rigged not to take any longer than 30 seconds.
User guide
The game is similar in nature to Scrabble or Crosswise, where players take turns placing letters to form words.
Controls
D-Pad - Move cursor
L/R - Change selected letter
A - Place selected letter
B - Remove tile from board
Start - FInish move, Use move to exchange tile
Select - Game menu (save/quit)
