In the game Centipede, the player takes on the role of "Long" the archer, who is stranded in a mysterious forest of giant mushrooms. They must fend off attacks from monstrous insects while navigating through increasingly dense undergrowth. As the player progresses and defeats centipedes, they level up and the game becomes faster and more challenging.
