YAUV - Yet Another Unearthed Vita is a port of Uncharted 1/2 clone.

Note - This game is no longer maintained since there is no way to provide DMCA-aligned build without any copyright data. So basically this projects is provided as is and to run unity project properly you have to obtain Texture2D and AudioSource folders from your legit copy. Sorry about that.

Description

Yet Another Unearthed Vita - Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta port Overclocking is persistent for this project to run smooth.

Nearest TODO

  • Implement separate rendering via 2 cameras, where background is in lower resolution and without any post-effects
  • Remove debug console
  • Push vita post-effects with separated rendering to github as a standalone package with required explainations
  • Add Survival level support
  • Language fonts?
  • Settings GUI IS thrashed
  • Do something with DoF
  • No ragdolls because the way they made is no longer supported in Unity 5

Project goal

  • Stable perfomance at least capped on 20 FPS
  • Graphics maxed out: bumped shaders, cubemap reflections, SSAO and other post-effects implemented
  • Full version of the game, including survival mode
  • Development of open-source unity post-effect kit for PS Vita, which will take homebrew port graphics on a whole new level
  • Insert your joke about drakeface here

Changelog

(v.1.0v2)

  • Darkened shadows, some glitches removed from part1
  • Skybox tweaks
  • QuadChase - removed DoF and SSAO is in higher resolution.
  • Next level after QuadChase - framerate improved. SSAO was too dark.
  • Tangier pt.2 - FPS was around 20, lowered the resolution.
  • Water meshes been overflowing with _WaveSpeed, _WaveScale material exceptions.
  • In a chase1 level there was no menu. Reduced realtime cutscene delay for 4s.
  • Removed unused resources (surivial mode, etc. )

(v.1.0)

  • Did as much as possible to make it at least playable.

(v0.9.1 BETA)

  • FPS boosted
  • Now you can kill enemies not only with headshots.Important note that it was somehow disabled in original game for unknown reason.
  • Better water shaders
  • Better textures
  • Updated shading
  • New repack toolchain (https://github.com/TushkaN-ist/PS-Vita-Unity-Packer/releases/tag/0.3)
  • Added sun shafts (a.k.a. god rays) in screen space
  • Added DoF while aiming (Depth of Field, soap, that is)
  • In total, Unearthed may claim the most graphically advanced game on vita in the future. Also I will stream its development in english next time.

(v.0.9)

  • Initial beta release.
  • You can complete story campaigh and save/exit anytime but there is no guarantees that every cutscene will work. However, no crashes expected since AFAIK I already have caught and fixed all OOM errors (though game still use almost all ram vita have).
  • Also please fill bug reports if there is locations with <= 10 FPS all time, they has to be fixed first.
  • Installation time: around 5 minutes. At least 2 GB on MC is required.
