Sky racer is a PSP hombrew racing game that takes place in the sky. It contains 3 game modes including a multiplayer option. The game also has an auto-save and auto-load feature.

This was submitted to the Neo Retro Coding Compo 2013 (Games).

User guide

Time Trial

• The goal is to reach the star with the highest score possible, there will be power-ups which give you extra points and ammo for your gun.
• When you reach the finishing line, you will receive a certain amount of money based on your score.
• The highest score will be shown on the main menu as high-score.

Survival

• You have 3 hearts, each time your ship crashes you lose 1 heart. When you lose all three hearts you die.

Two player

• 2 Players race against each other on the same PSP to reaches the star.
• There are power-ups also but instead of boosting your score, power-ups allow you to hit blocks and warp them in front of your opponent, slowing down their progress.

Store

• The place where you can spent the money received from Time Trial.
• You can get new ships, bullets, gun upgrades and obtain the fastest ship in the game that only you can discover (Hint: It's very colorful).

Controls

D-Pad Left - Move left, Select back

D-Pad Right - move Right, Select forward

D-Pad Up/Down - Choose class, Move up/down (at store)

Cross - Fire gun, Purchase (at store)

Triangle - Choose ship to use

Start - Erase previous work to start over
