Pixel repair set is a tool that test the PSP screen for lazy pixels and tries to repair them by flashing differents colors.

It was submitted to the Neo Summer Coding Compo 2006 (PSP Applications, 6th place).

User guide

Tools

  • Test the screen - This shows differents colors and you will be able to switch between colors.
  • Count the stuck pixels - In order to have a count you can adjust the amount of stuck pixels. You can hide the counter if needed.
  • Repair the screen - This tool flashes a lot of colors very hastly, please do not look at the screen while it is active. To enable it, press Triangle in the main menu.

According to the developer, in order to repair a screen it must be running for at least an hour.

Controls

Cross - Test screen, Switch colors

Circle - Increase the amount of colors pixels

Square - Reduce the amount of color pixels

L - Hide counter

R - Show counter

Triangle - Flash colors

Start - Return to main menu
