WiiStrobe is an application that transforms your Wii console and TV into an adjustable strobe light, perfect for holding a disco party in your living room.

With version 0.0.2, the strobe has been fine-tuned for an even faster experience, and a new police siren mode (red and blue) has been added. Get ready to turn up the music and let the strobe light do the rest.

Photosensitivity Warning: This app is potentially dangerous for people with a history of history of seizures or epilepsy. Whilst mal-effects haven't been reported, please be extra caution and take care.

User guide

It's worth noting that the strobe effect will not work beyond a certain point, typically around 60Hz due to the Wii and TV's refresh rate.

If the strobe is set to go faster than this, the result will be a black-white blur instead of a strobe effect.

Caution

Please use caution if you or anyone in the room has a medical condition that can be triggered by flashing lights, such as epilepsy.

Consult with a medical professional if unsure. The author cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise.

Screen Burn-in

This program appears to do essentially the same thing as Stuck Pixel Fixer for GBA, and it may actually unstick some stuck pixels on LCD TVs .

This app will not cause screen burn-in of any kind. As a matter of fact, since the display is totally uniform, this is probably the LEAST threatening image you could ever display on a CRT as far as burn-in threats go.

Controls

Wiimote:

D-Pad Up/Down - Make strobe faster/slower

D-Pad Left/Right - Switch between colour modes

Home - Return from where you came (Wii Menu or Homebrew Loader)
