Power Off Channel is a channel that allows users to completely power off their Wii console with the push of a button, displaying a red light. This eliminates the need to manually turn off the console by getting up and using the physical power button.

It's worth noting that using the Wii-mote to power down the Wii while WiiConnect24 is on, will only put the console in standby mode, displaying an orange light.

Additionally, if you use a USB hard drive or other device, the Wii still sends power to the USB ports and the drive remains powered on. Power Off channel ensures a full power off, which is important if you want to disconnect or power down peripherals properly and save energy.

Function

Running this channel will completely turn off the Wii system (red light) so you don't have to. That's it.
