2BitsBallWall is the continuation of 1BitBallWall. It is a breakkout game on the Game Boy Advance.

User guide

Gameplay

You control a racket and you must avoid at all cost's for the ball hit the ground.

To complete a stage, you must destroy all blocks on the screen.

Each game mode have stages to complete, up to 8 stages can be on single mode. There are up to 60 stages to complete the game.

To play the game, select any mode from menu...the 2 last icons are the Sound & Password.

Password

On the end of a mode, a password will be revealed:

  • White - It means mode unlock, it will be automatically unlocked after pressing Start.
  • Blue - It means Cheat unlock, you will need to unlock it on Password menu.
  • Note that the password is given to you include the current and others unlocks.

Entering Password:

  • If the password is wrong, a low freq sound will play.
  • If the password is accepted. The modes or the Cheat will be unlocked and it will return to menu.

Game notes

The 2BitsBallWall have improved gameplay and graphics, but some are remain unchanged.

On-game objects colors:

  • Normal blocks - Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink, Aqua and White.
  • Special 2x blocks - Light Red, Light Green, Light Blue.
  • Special 3x blocks - Lighter Red, Lighter Green, Lighter Blue.
  • Wall - Grey (Look different from Blocks).

"Lost a live" note:

  • If you loose a live, it will restart with the default racket and ball position, but the blocks destroyed will not revive again.
  • You have 3 Lives, the "LV" indicate the ball's you have, not the ball's remain.
  • After all lives lost, a "GAME OVER" text will appear.

Tricks:

  • RESET WHILE PLAYING - On middle of the game, "pause" and after music stop press: A+B+Select.
  • CLASSIC MODE MUSIC - On menu, place the cursor on the icon of Sound, turn it off and press Right and A, the icon will turn Yellow and you will have the 1BitBallWall music style again.

Controls

Main menu:

Start - Advance

Up - Move the cursor up (menu)

Down/Select - Move the cursor down (menu)

A - Choose the menu, Sound on/off

B - Return to title screen

R/L - (Try after receiving and unlocking the Cheat Password)

In game:

Left/Right - Control the racket left and right

Start - Pause the game

Select - (Try after receiving and unlocking the Cheat Password)

Password menu:

Left/Right - Move cursor left/right

Up - Add 1, return to 0 after 7

Down - Subtract 1, return to 7 after 0

B - Cancel

A/Start - Enter

Know issues

The new Block collision does not work as intended.

Sometimes the ball pass through the racket if it hits on left most side or right most side.

The ball hit too far of the wall, about 1 or 2 pixels.

This game was made with pure ASM Code for ARM processor using GoldARM, the functions and others stuff are from 1BitBallWall.
