This is a homebrew port of Slender: The Eight Pages, a free-to-play indie-developed first-person survival horror game released in 2012.

It includes all of the main gameplay features and allows you to do everything that was in the original game. It is based on oneLUA and has a few visual artifacts, but is functionally full of everything you would expect of this port.

Note: This game is not suitable for younger audiences or those who are easily disturbed. Viewer discretion is advised.

User guide

In this game, you are forced to collect 8 pages in a forest while being hunted by the Slenderman.

You will find the original Slender map and be able to roam around and collect the pages, while Slenderman gets ever closer to stealing your soul.

Graphics flicker and cull weirdly. No way to fix it.

No stepping sounds.

  • This update, made by janosharsanyi, fixes some bugs, adds music to the main menu and once the game is won, brings you back into the main menu instead of restarting.
  • It works around some of the technical limitations and adds a little bit more polish to the full release.
