This is an unfinished port of the Nintendo DS emulator DeSmuME for Nintendo Switch. It was originally based of MasterFeizz's port which is probably based off the last release of DeSmuME from a few years back, it's now based off the Git master branch of DeSmuME.
The largest addition of this port is a newly written JIT backend for the ARMv8 architecture, using the code emitter of the Dolphin project. Later the OpenGL renderer is also implemented. The emulator now runs at near fullspeed without any overclocking (in 2D only games), though only overclocking to 1.78 GHz results in games running at fullspeed (e.g. about 30 FPS with Mario Kart).
Note: Development has ended in early December 2019. It is recommended to use melonDS instead which had similar levels of performance with full overclocking while being far more accurate.
Installation
Place the .nro to the /switch/ folder on the SD card.
You must add ROMs into /switch/desmume/roms/, or it will crash.
