{{#seo: |title= (Racing) - GameBrew |title_mode=append |image=carbie2.png |image_alt=Carbie }} Carbie is an intense capture the flag deathmatch duel in trucks. This was developed for the GBAX 2003 Coding Competition (Runners Up). ==User guide== ===Gameplay=== The aim of the game is to be the first to hold the flag for 1000 points. If you drop the flag your flag held time will reset back to 0. If you have the flag and pass thru the active checkpoint a rewarded bonus of 100 points is given. You can also shoot the opponenets, once a truck has been shot 100 times it will drop the flag and need repairing(return to start). You can steal the flag from your opponenets by smashing into them from behind. ===HUD=== The radar shows where the oppoenets and the player are on the map (blue, green, red, yellow). It also shows where the next active checkpoint is (white). To be successful at Carbie you need to maintain a constant watch at the radar to see where the next checkpoint will be, so you can either gain the bonus points or wait there for an opponent so you can steal the flag from them. When an opponent or player has the flag, in the top left hand corner of the screen their held counter with their current held count will be displayed. ==Controls== A - Accelerate forward B - Accelerate backwards L - Horn R - Shoot Select - Rescue (get out of a chaotic situation however you will drop the flag) ==Screenshots== https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/gbahomebrews/carbie3.png https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/gbahomebrews/carbie4.png <!--BEGIN Online Emulator Section--> ==Online emulator== {{EmulatorJS Main |width=480px |height=400px |EJS_backgroundBlur=false |EJS_backgroundImage=https://www.gamebrew.org/images/e/e5/Carbie02.png |EJS_core=gba |EJS_gameName=Carbie |EJS_gameUrl=https://dlhb.gamebrew.org/onlineemulators/gba/carbie.7z }} {{GBA Control Settings}} <!--END Online Emulator Section--> ==External links== * GBAX 2003 Coding Competition - https://gbax.gp2x.de/gbax2003.html [[Category:GBAX 2003 Coding Competition]]
