This is an updated fork of EyeKey's disc2app, a homebrew tool that combines wudump and wud2app by FIX94.
It dumps just the .app/-h3/.tmd/.cert/.tik files from the disc, providing a faster alternative to full disc dumps by reading only essential parts. (And reduce the chance to encounter bad sectors in case of scratched discs)
Features
- Dump raw images from a Wii U game disc.
- Option to choose between SD and USB dumping, similar to wudump.
- Files are dumped to /install/DISC NAME/ folder.
- Disc dumps can be installed using wupinstaller y mode.
Installation
Extract the latest release and move the wiiu folder to the root of the SD card.
User guide
Launch this application through the Homebrew Launcher, follow the instructions to dump a Wii U disc onto an SD card or FAT32 USB device in installable format (make sure there is at least 23.3 GB of free memory).
The files will be dumped to /install/ folder which can be installed by wupinstaller.
If you have existing saves or data for the game, move them to your desired installation location before installing the game. For instance, if installing on a hard drive, move any save states to the hard drive prior to installation.
