Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - Prosecutor's Path is the fan translation English patch of Gyakuten Kenji 2 for the Nintendo DS. Gyakuten Kenji 2 is a direct sequel to Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, which is itself a spin-off of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It is the only game in Capcom’s popular Ace Attorney series of visual novels to never have gotten an official English localization.

With the help of more than 50 major contributors and after almost 4 years of development including months of public beta testing, the final version was released which covers all the common screens of the game (title screen, case selection screen, save screen, profile/evidence screen), all the text, all the graphics (including backgrounds, sprites and even evidence) and all the voices (recycled the old voices when possible or dubbed by voice actors for the new characters) in English for all cases.

Compatibility

Works on:

DesMuME (runs fine without known issues in versio 0.9.9 and 0.9.10)
No$gba and No$Zoomer (Options > Emulation Setup, change Reset/Startup Entrypoint to GBA BIOS)
DraStic for Android (works for the latest full version and you will have to start over, go to settings > apps > clear data) Some flashcards on DS consoles (not throughly tested, M3 card requires latest infolib.dat)

Known issues

The voice commands (when you screem Hold it! or Objection! to your NDS) seem broken.

When you load a savegame, it's possible that you will get an empty text box. Do not worry, the next text will show up as usual. If you are on a cross examination, you can go forward and back and you will get the missing text. Improvement has been made to fix this issue but it's still not perfect.

Some older flashcards still activate the AP.

In case 3, in the room with the fountain, you get some glitches. All the gliches/strange behavior seem to be related to emulators and not to the game itself.
